About the Chorus
The ensemble is directed by David Wolfe (Brandon) and accompanied on piano by Penny Menzies (Inglis) and Brennan McNabb (Winnipeg) on bass guitar. The 48 talented men and women who make up the ensemble this year come from across the region, including Basswood, Birtle, Brandon, Cardale, Erickson, Glenboro, Hamiota, Minnedosa, Newdale, Oak River, Onanole, Rivers, Shoal Lake, and Strathclair.
The theatre chorus’s very first performance dates back to a dinner theatre fundraiser on March 2nd, 1991. What started as a choir of 27 voices has since grown into a strong, vibrant, and beloved mixed-voice singing group.
